We had 3 eligible members turn their letter of intent in and be accepted for the 2019/2020 Board of Directors. Since there are only 3 open seats, there will not be an actual election day for this. The new Board will consist of Josh Swarts, Laura Strope, Trent Williams (new) and Justin Williams, Steve Lee, Susie Shinn, Dawn Presley (remains). At our next meeting, which will be held on October 19, 2019 (3rd Saturday, instead of 2nd) the members present will elect this Board to their specific positions (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary). All adult members are eligible & encouraged to participate in this as long as you are present at meeting. You may be required to show identification. Meeting starts at 9am.
On Saturday, September 21, 2019 there will be an 8 hour workday for anyone who has not yet earned a work voucher for 2020. All volunteers are welcome, even if you already have a voucher for next year. Lunch will be served. Please sign in at the Clubhouse at 8am. A list of jobs is being compiled.
Friendly reminder, if you use the clubhouse for a party, event, etc… please make sure to clean up afterwards, including the bathroom.
Safety reminder, Range use & ATV/UTV/ANY MOTORIZED VEHICLE riding from mailbox near dump station and back is prohibited starting October 1st, 2019 for Hunting Season except for game retrieval. The kids track remains open for use. Hunting Rule Addition-HUNTERS may ride ATV/UTV to their stand with the following stipulations: Must be at stand 10 minutes prior to legal shoot time, No riding out before 9am unless emergency, May ride in between 1pm-3pm, All weapons must be cased and locked while transported. ANY VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN YOU WALKING FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!
We will be celebrating Halloween on Saturday, October 19th, starting with Camper Trick or Treating at 5pm. Weiner Roast at 6pm with Chili/Soup Cook Off. Costume contest (child up to age 14 and adult 15 and above) and Pumpkin Carving/Decorating contest shortly after. Please bring own pumpkin already carved/decorated. Weather permitting these activities will be held at the Pavilion; at clubhouse if bad weather. KCCSC will provide hotdogs, buns and tableware. Deserts and Side Dishes welcomed!
The water to the campground will be shut off on Sunday, October 20th at Noon.
RULE REMINDER-YOU MUST USE A PROPER SANITARY HOSE AND AIRTIGHT CONTAINER AT DUMP STATION!! IT IS A VIOLATION TO USE A ROCK, STICK, ETC… TO PROP OPEN CAP AS THIS HAS CAUSED MAJOR DAMAGE IN THE PAST RESULTING IN KCCSC HAVING TO PAY A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF MONEY TO FIX. YOU CAN AND WILL BE SUSPENDED/TERMINATED IF YOU ARE CAUGHT NOT USING A HOSE. ANY MEMBER CAN WRITE UP A SIGNED COMPLAINT ON ANOTHER MEMBER AND BRING TO A BOARD MEMBER. BOTH PARTIES WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE FOLLOWING MEETING AFTER COMPLAINT IS MADE. PLEASE REFER TO RULES 23& 48.
